Family and Community Day in Annelinna Library focuses on the environment
All visitors are welcome to the Annelinna branch library Family and Community Day on September 20th. This year's Family Day themes are related to nature and the environment.
The library's outdoor area offers activities from 11 am to 3 pm, when the sheep from Kaspri Farm are waiting to be petted, and a play yard, where children can create their own play space, is open.
As part of the European Mobility Week, a walk to the heart of Annelinna will start at 11 am from the Annelinna Library with landscape architect Aljona Galazan, who is from Annelinna herself.
The Tartu Maheaia Exhibition with the cutest garden products is open in the library. Tartu Food Savers talk about saving food and also offer a snack table. The City Library's theatre troupe will perform the performance "Adventure in the Book Forest" and students from Tartu II Music School will perform a concert. The day will be concluded by horticultural scientist, psychologist, teacher, poet and writer Toivo Niiberg, who will talk about healthy food and the nature around us.
The Annelinna Library Family and Community Day is supported by the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, the City of Tartu and the ClimaGen project.
