!!! The Karlova-Ropka branch of the Tartu City Library has closed its doors at its current location on June 6. New address is Teguri 39, on the second floor of the building. The library will begin operating at the temporary location on July 6.

Location and transportation
By car - the parking lot is next to the house (free parking for 1 hour).
By bus - buses no. 6 and 9 go to the library. The nearest stop is E-Kaubamaja on Tähe street.
Bicycle circulation - There is also a bicycle circulation parking lot near the building (ID 79, E-Kaubamaja), see the availability of bicycles.

Our library has over 40,000 books, plus magazines, newspapers and electronic information. A missing book can be ordered from other collections of the Tartu City Library.
You can return books borrowed from us to all other departments or branches of the Tartu City Library.
Outside the library's opening hours, it is also possible to return books to the book return box next to the entrance.

For kids
In the children's area of the library, you can explore books and draw on the spot. By prior agreement, we organize library lessons for kindergarteners and schoolchildren. Information 730 8472
Board game lending
The library has a large selection of board games, there are nearly 75 exciting games to choose from - dominoes, card, dice, board games, developmental games, etc. You can find a detailed list here.
Activity room
Readers can use a sewing machine. Advance reservation required, phone 730 8472. The time of use is two hours and the use is free. You only have to pay for consumables provided by the library.
Training
With prior agreement, it is possible to receive individual training on the use of smart devices. The training is free. Information and registration, phone 730 8472.
