The library is located on the first (ground) floor of the Ilmatsalu school building.

Accessibility: The branch library is also accessible via a proper ramp.
The automatic opening button can be used to enter the front door, and you can open the door with a sweep when exiting.

The Ilmatsalu branch library is a community library that works in cooperation with the local school and kindergarten. Since 2019, the library is part of the Tartu Public Library system. The library has nearly 16,000 books and 40 different magazines and newspapers for borrowing. The availability of the book or information can be checked through the e-catalogue ESTER.
Internet
There is a Public Internet point in the library premises, where 1 workstation can be used. We offer printing, scanning and photocopying services.
Sewing
A sewing machine and an overlock machine can be used in the library. The machine can be booked for 2 hours at a time.
The library from their side offers threads, needles, spools, various soles and scissors.
White, black and beige thread is available on the spot for the overlock machine.
Virtual reality
In the library, you can experience virtual reality with a Playstation VR set, play PS4 games (Astro Bot, Dirt Rally, Firewall, Fortnite Deep Freeze Bundle, Gran Turismo Sport, Minecraft, NBA Live, Wolfenstein, etc).
Pre-registration is required to use virtual reality and play PS4 games.
Board games
There are board games for borrowing home and playing on the spot - 5 sekundit (5 seconds), mini checkers, Jänkumäng (Bunny game), Kalad Eesti rannikuvetes ja meres (Fish in Estonian coastal waters and sea), Laevade pommitamine (Battleship Game), Magnetic Chess, Põnevad küsimused ja faktid EV100 (Exciting questions and facts EV100), Reis ümber maailma (Ludo Game).
In addition, you can try your hand with a 3D pen.
