SEWING
A JANOME sewing machine and overlock machine can be used in the non-fiction department on the 3rd floor and in the Annelinna, Tammelinna and Ilmatsalu libraries.
In the Karlova-Ropka branch library, the reader can use a JANOME sewing machine.
The machine can be booked for two hours at a time.
From its part, the library offers threads, needles, spools, various soles and scissors.
White, black and beige thread is available locally for the overlock machine.
Using the machine requires sewing skills. The librarian only provides technical support.

3D MODELING AND 3D PRINTERS
It is possible to use 3D modeling software in the central computer class.
There are 2 3D printers for readers to use in the non-fiction department on the 3rd floor: Ultimaker 2+ and Ultimaker Original+.
The use of 3D printers is free, the price of the filament used must be paid. The price list of materials is in the activity room in a place visible to the reader.
It is possible to print with PLA filament. The model to be printed must be in .STL or .OBJ format. Printing time is limited to 5 hours.

3D PENCILS
3Doodler Start pens can be used in the children's and youth department in the main building 3/5 Kompanii St, Annelinna, Karlova-Ropka, Tammelinna and Ilmatsalu branches.
The pencils acquired for the library come from the company 3Doodler, which uses environmentally friendly materials, so 3Doodler Start pencils are very friendly tools for small, beginner drafters (certified as a safe toy). The filler plastic used melts at 60 degrees and the material rots in soil or compost during 60 days and is environmentally friendly because it is produced from food industry waste.
The advanced 3Doodler Create pen can be used in the activity room of the non-fiction department on the 3rd floor. Drawing with 3Doodler Start pens is free.
FILM AND SLIDE SCANNER
The film scanner Reflecta RPS 10M, which can be used to digitize both negatives and slides, is located in the non-fiction department on the 3rd floor. The machine can be booked for two hours at a time.

GRAPHICS BOARD
It is possible to use the Wacom Cintiq 27QHD graphics board in the Annelinna library.

VIRTUAL REALITY
Game consoles are located in the central library and in the Annelinna, Karlova, Tammelinna and Ilmatsalu branch libraries.
In addition, it is possible to experience virtual reality with a Playstation VR set in the Annelinna and Ilmatsalu branches.

HANDICRAFTS
In the Children's and youth department and the Tammelinna branch, you can make exciting crafts using the Spellbinders cutting machine.
Craftsmanship workshops take place by prior arrangement with libraries.

BINDING
In the non-fiction department on the 3rd floor, the GBC CombBind 110 spiral binding machine with plastic spirals can be used to bind abstracts, theses, reports, manuals, etc.
Format A4.
Plastic Clicks 8, 10 and 12 mm.
Binds up to 100 pages.
The use of the spiral binding machine is free, the price of the used material must be paid. The price list of materials is in the activity room in a place visible to the reader.

LAMINATION
GBC Fusion 1100L A3 laminator, up to 125mic, 300mm/min, can be used in the non-fiction department on the 3rd floor.
Only A4 and A3 film pockets provided by the library can be used.
The thickness of the material to be coated can be up to 0.7 mm.
Plastic cards cannot be laminated.
The price of the used material must be paid.
